HCM City will host the Southern Fruit Festival in
its Suoi Tien Tourist Area in District 9 from June 1-20 with a view of
honouring values of exotic fruits and growers in Viet Nam and the
southern region in particular.
The supply of speciality fruits in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta for the
coming Tet (Lunar New Year), which falls in mid-February, will be scarce
because unfavourable weather has affected output, according to farmers.
